The problem with this answer is that some countries and
societies have a different work-schedule. For example, in Saudi Arabia Friday is the last day of the weekend—which
means they probably do not think as highly of the day as people in the United
States would.
Some countries may not adhere the Monday through Friday work-schedule
as most countries, but a lot of people do abide by that schedule, and those
people usually like Friday.
Why do they like Friday?
Well, the English word “Friday” comes from the Anglo-Saxon
goddess Frige. The goddess is associated with sexuality, fertility and also
wealth and power.
I believe people like Friday, because of the associations to
the goddess Frige.
Why do people work? To get money and to be wealthy.
What does money get you? Usually power.
Why do we want to be rich and to have power? So we can
attract partners.
Friday is a day where people are free to spend their
well-earned money on things or events that will help them get a partner. I love Fridays and I
bet a lot of you do too. Happy Friday.
