The greatest human invention is something that is highly debatable.
My opinion can
differ from a lot of others, but choosing the greatest human invention
should be an overall consensus.
When deciding what the best human creation is, one must
first look at all of the possibilities. I could choose the internet, the computer,
the car, the lightbulb, etc. There are so many choices, and it seems like
choosing one will be impossible. Someone might think that the car is greatest
invention ever, because people can now access and reach places they would never
have been able to go before it was invented. Each great invention probably has
an even greater reason as to why it should be considered the best.
So, how can I choose?
There are many articles online, like this
one, that give a list of what other people think the greatest invention is.
Some of the top choices include tools, cooking and language. These human inventions
all seem like they are really important. How could language not be the greatest
invention? I have to use a language in order to tell you what I think the
greatest invention is, so should language be claimed as the greatest invention
ever?
Well…
How can we define “the greatest human invention?”
Does the greatest creation involve making human’s analytical
or critical process thinking better? Does the best creation expand our lifespan
by many more years? Does the greatest invention help our species communicate?
There are so many questions, but that is it, right?
Questions are the greatest human invention ever.
How can that be? Well think about it for a few moments.
One
article I read explains how thinking of questions helps people to teach,
learn and think. We could not have been able to create a language, if we did
not first ask ourselves: “Is there a way we can communicate verbally? How should
we go about communicating?”
Attending my university, I have learned that questions are
the greatest human creation. Without people creating new, intellectual
questions each day, there would be no language, no internet and no cars. These
great inventions all started from humans formulating and creating questions.
This means that not one person can be known as the creator of questions,
because everyone can create and ask questions.
So, go out into the world and create the greatest human
invention.
