My 2015 Preview, Including Tips to Control Your Senior Anxiety

For me, 2015 will be a year full of travel, excitement and adventure.

Many exciting things will happen this year. I will graduate from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May, and while I do not know where I will be five months after the graduation ceremony, I do know where I will be two months after.
As stated, I am a recipient of the Frances L. Phillips Travel Scholarship, and so, I will be traveling through Brasil for approximately three months, which will start in May and end in August. I will be journaling, blogging, vlogging and documenting my adventures while abroad.

I have many ideas and plans for what I want and am going to do once I return, and although I do not have something currently lined up, I am not stressed or anxious. I actually like the freedom to decide where I want to go and what I want to do after university, and I feel no rush to figure things out immediately. How do I remain so calm? Check out my tips after the jump.

New UNC One Card Brings Back Old Well

Four years, three cards.

I received my first UNC One Card Plus (pictured top right) two months before I began my first year at UNC. The age of the card is evident with my card being connected to Wachovia.

I assumed I lost this card, which forced me to order a new one, but I recovered this one, and I will keep it as a piece of UNC undergraduate memorabilia.

My second card (pictured right) is boring.

The card is vastly different, and it was not my personal favorite. The simplicity is simply too simple.

The Old Well is a popular visual symbol of UNC, and removing it made the card feel too bland.

Sure, the card worked properly, but I always despised pulling it out of my wallet.

The newest card (pictured bottom right) is flat, but the Old Well is back.

Text and numbers are not raised, rather they are printed on the card. Now, it looks more like a campus ID instead of a debit card, especially with the barcode on the front of the card.

I am happy the iconic Old Well returned. In the email, they said they were changing the design and security, and the design is splendid. If only I knew about the security changes.
